Authorized Pick-Up & Drop-Off Policy
The safety of every child is a top priority at New World of Discovery Childcare (NWODC).
For this reason, strict procedures are followed during drop-off and pick-up times.
Authorized Pick-Up
Children will only be released to parents, legal guardians, or individuals who are listed on the child’s authorized pick-up list.
Identification
Authorized individuals may be asked to present valid photo identification when picking up a child.
Changes to Authorized Pick-Up
Parents or guardians must notify the childcare in advance if someone not listed on the authorized pick-up form will be picking up the child.
Written authorization may be required.
Emergency Pick-Up
In the event of an emergency, parents should contact the childcare immediately to provide authorization for another individual to pick up their child.
Late Pick-Up
Parents are expected to pick up their child before the childcare’s closing time.
Late pick-ups may result in additional fees according to the childcare’s policies.
Drop-Off Procedures
Parents or guardians must accompany their child into the childcare and ensure the child is checked in with a staff member before leaving.
